Steve Bloom, CEO

Steve started with PRAGMATEK in 1991 after leaving IBM because they didn't like that he wore pink dress shirts to work (are paisley ties back in style yet?) As CEO, Steve is most proud of the unique culture that separates PRAGMATEK apart from other companies in the industry. With a strong focus on customer-intimate behaviors and taking care of its employees, Steve is focused on tripling the size of PRAGMATEK over the next 3 years.
Steve and his wife Terry met at Gustavus, and now spend most of their time with two future Gusties in Haley and Jenna (that is, if they expect to get any help financially). If he isn't coaching soccer, attending a dance recital, chairing Social Venture Partners of MN, or watching Lost, he can be seen drinking a fine glass of Merryvale and smoking an occasional cigar while admiring the 25 llamas on his property in Lakeville. Steve's motto in life is that if you can't burn the candle at both ends, don't light it. |
